Amanda has spent the past 20 years as a volunteer and manager in the not for profit sector, and prior to that some years with a family retail business. Amanda has developed exceptional skills in written and visual communication, organisational structures and event management. She was the Executive Officer for Autism Victoria from 1991 to 2007, and was Convenor of the highly successful World Autism Congress held in Melbourne in 2002. She has experience as a director, trustee, committee and board member of various organisations around Australia and has participated in numerous government reference groups and advisory panels.
In 2007 Amanda established AmaGol Services to assist smaller organisations and companies with their day to day governance, management and communication tasks. AmaGol Services would especially suit organisations and commercial enterprises that do not have the ongoing staffing capacity to support special projects, or who prefer to contract rather than employ professional expertise on a needs basis.
